Apple commissioned a six-part seventh series, led by Sir Gary Oldman and adapted from Bad Actors. Its spoiler-light premise sends Jackson Lamb and the Slow Horses after a mole operating at the centre of government, with the stability of the state at risk.
The order was announced before Series 5 premiered. Series 6 is now scheduled for 16 September to 21 October 2026; that does not establish a Series 7 date. A 2027 arrival may look plausible from the programme’s past rhythm, but it is an estimate—not an Apple announcement.
Bad Actors is the eighth main Slough House novel. It follows Slough House, one of the books feeding Series 6. Readers who want to stay ahead can read in publication order, but the television adaptation may combine, move or reinvent events. This page deliberately avoids the novel’s major reveals.

Yes. The strongest public evidence is Film London’s own production roundup, supported by attributable press reports.
In an Associated Press interview, Gary Oldman said production was due to begin in November. That was a forward-looking comment at the time, not a release announcement.
Film London’s monthly filming report specifically identified Series 7 activity at Aldersgate Street—the familiar Slough House area—the Barbican Estate and Bunhill Fields Burial Ground.
ChiswickW4 reported Gary Oldman and a production crew filming Slow Horses around Askew Road, including a launderette. The report fits the Series 7 production period, but Apple has not confirmed which episode or story location the scene represents.
Location etiquette: these are working streets and private businesses, not sets open to visitors. Use public pavements, do not interrupt filming or photograph through private windows, and treat reported story context as provisional until an episode airs.

We will only move those items into the confirmed column when Apple or a named production source publishes them.
