Outside the UK

Apple TV operates in many countries and regions, but app features, billing and programme availability can vary. Start with the same official show link: Apple should present the store and subscription terms for your region.   • Download before departure: where the Apple TV app offers the download button, save episodes on iPhone, iPad, Mac or PC while on reliable Wi-Fi.
  • Check storage: video files are large. Confirm the download has finished, then briefly test it offline.
  • Streaming abroad: the catalogue and features presented can depend on your location and account region. A title available at home may not behave identically elsewhere.
  • Hotel TVs: avoid entering your password if you cannot reliably sign out. A personal device or a browser you control is safer.
  • Mobile data: roaming video can be expensive. Use trusted Wi-Fi or an offline download and check your network allowance.
